This medicine functions for up to four hours, helping to ease irritation and symptoms like wind and bloating. It brings fast, soothing and long lasting relief from the pain and discomfort of heartburn and acid indigestion by neutralising excess stomach acid to relieve pain and discomfort and forming a protective barrier over the stomach contents to soothe the burning pain in your chest. Gaviscon Double Action Liquid can be used if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Gaviscon Double Action Liquid contains 3 active ingredients which work together to treat heartburn and indigestion. The first two, sodium bicarbonate and calcium carbonate, are antacids which work to neutralise excess stomach acid, converting it into harmless substances like water awhile easing irritation of your stomach lining. The third is sodium alginate works by forming a protective layer over your stomach organs, helping to prevent acid reflux and easing irritation at the same time.
Directions: Step 1: Shake the bottle well before use. Step 2: Take 10 - 20ml of Gaviscon Double Action Liquid, 5ml spoonfuls. Take up to 4 times a day, after each meal and before bedtime.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry place which below 30 degrees Celsius
