Microlife BP AG1-30 Aneroid Blood Pressure Kit is a manual blood pressure measuring device designed for use on the upper arm. It provides a reliable and accurate method for monitoring blood pressure, suitable for individuals familiar with the auscultatory (listening with a stethoscope) measurement technique.

Microlife BP AG1-30 Aneroid Blood Pressure Kit typically includes a high-quality palm sphygmomanometer (the pressure gauge), a stethoscope (which may be built-in or separate), a professional cuff designed for a comfortable and proper fit, an ergonomic inflation bulb with a user-friendly push-button air release valve, and a storage case or soft bag for convenient portability and protection of the components.

Microlife BP AG1-30 Aneroid Blood Pressure Kit’s clear and easy-to-read manometer allows users to monitor pressure during inflation and deflation.

Usage Instructions:

  1. Ensure the correct cuff size is selected for your upper arm circumference (typically 22-32cm for the M-size cuff included).
  2. Position the cuff on your bare upper arm, approximately 1-2 cm above the elbow. The artery marker on the cuff should align with the brachial artery (on the inner side of your arm).
  3. If your kit has a separate stethoscope, place the chest piece over the brachial artery, below the cuff. If it has a built-in stethoscope, ensure it's positioned correctly over the artery.
  4. Close the air valve on the bulb by turning the screw clockwise.
  5. Inflate the cuff by squeezing the bulb until the pressure gauge reads about 20-30 mmHg above your expected systolic pressure.
  6. Slowly release the air pressure by gently turning the air valve counter-clockwise, allowing the pressure to fall at a rate of 2-3 mmHg per second.
  7. Listen through the stethoscope for the first Korotkoff sound (systolic pressure) and the point at which the sounds disappear (diastolic pressure).
  8. Once the measurement is complete, fully deflate the cuff.
  9. Record your blood pressure readings.
  10. Store the kit in its case or bag when not in use.

Ingredients:

The Microlife BP AG1-30 Aneroid Blood Pressure Kit consists of mechanical components. The cuff is typically made of durable nylon or similar fabric with a Velcro closure. The inflation bulb and tubing are usually made of rubber or latex-free synthetic materials. The sphygmomanometer (pressure gauge) contains a mechanical system with a needle and calibrated dial to display pressure readings. The stethoscope, if included, has a metal chest piece and eartubes with plastic or silicone eartips, connected by flexible tubing. The storage case or bag is typically made of fabric or synthetic materials with a zipper closure
